Senior Associate – International Growth (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

Pwc is seeking a Senior Associate to join its International Growth practice, a specialised team that helps companies expand across borders. The role focuses on supporting Japanese‑speaking clients and collaborating closely with PwC Japan to drive market entry and supply‑chain realignment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support client projects targeting new market expansion or supply‑chain rebalancing.
• Develop market expansion strategies, entry scenarios, channel designs and operating models.
• Conduct site‑selection analyses for HQs, R&D centres, and manufacturing plants.
• Perform global talent and supplier portfolio assessments.
• Lead workshops and discussions with senior executives and government representatives.
• Engage in business development, proposal creation and client pursuit activities.
• Coordinate with PwC’s global network to bring in relevant expertise.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and represent PwC at conferences.

Required profile

• 5‑6+ years of consulting experience in strategy or management consulting.
• Proven experience delivering projects for Japanese clients.
• Strong business development and sales capabilities, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
• Fluent Japanese and English communication skills.
