Senior Executive Search Recruiter – Semiconductor Hiring

About the role

Renesas is looking for a Senior Executive Search Recruiter to partner with senior leadership and HR in delivering top‑tier executive talent for G‑level positions across its global semiconductor business. The role focuses on creating a best‑in‑class candidate experience while aligning hiring outcomes with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end executive recruiting for Senior Director, VP and C‑suite roles, including search strategy, sourcing, pipeline development, assessments, interview design and offer negotiations.
• Serve as the primary advisor to senior business leaders, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition leadership on all executive hiring needs.
• Design, implement and continuously improve executive search processes, tools, scorecards and governance frameworks.
• Manage relationships with external executive search firms, negotiate contracts, evaluate performance and ensure delivery of diverse, high‑quality slates.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive landscape research, compensation benchmarking and succession pipeline insights to influence talent strategy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of executive search experience, either in‑house, at a top‑tier search firm, or a combination of both.
• Proven track record managing senior‑level searches (Senior Director, VP, C‑suite) and building recruiting teams.
• Strong ability to influence and partner with senior executives and stakeholders.
• High discretion handling confidential information.

• Vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of market dynamics, talent trends and executive compensation.
