Senior Financial Analyst, Marketing Finance

About the role

Google’s Marketing Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to act as the strategic bridge between Marketing and Finance. You will provide senior leaders with data‑driven insights, develop financial models, and help shape investment decisions that drive growth across Google’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and modeling for Marketing’s OpEx budget.
• Partner with cross‑functional product finance teams to translate business objectives into actionable financial plans.
• Produce executive‑level storytelling and reports that influence strategic decisions and resource allocation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help scale automated financial workflows.
• Support senior management with insightful recommendations, tracking, and reporting on marketing spend performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, or a similar analytical function within a multinational environment.
• Proven experience executing full‑cycle FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to work with data, influence decisions, and communicate complex analysis to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
