Senior HR Business Partner (Korean-speaking)

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will support Samsung's regional commercial and corporate functions in Southeast Asia & Oceania from the Singapore office. Reporting to the Regional Head of People Experience, you will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders while coordinating closely with senior management in South Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management and succession planning.
• Own employee life‑cycle activities such as goal setting, performance reviews, onboarding, off‑boarding and grievance handling.
• Partner with HR Centres of Excellence (Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to improve frameworks and ensure compliance with Singapore labour laws.
• Leverage people analytics and AI to anticipate issues, deliver data‑driven solutions and brief leaders on policy changes.
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Lead regional employee engagement, DEI initiatives and talent programmes, including surveys, action planning and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 4‑6 years in HR business partnering.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid data‑literacy.
• Experience in a multinational corporation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Singapore employment legislation.
• Fluency in Korean is mandatory.
