Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel will join a global leader in ICT infrastructure and smart devices, providing legal support across research & development, corporate affairs, intellectual property and regulatory analysis for Southeast Asian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal counsel for R&D activities, handling technology collaborations, complex procurement and labour relations.
• Draft, review and negotiate high‑stakes commercial contracts and support regional business expansion.
• Oversee corporate dispute resolution to minimise institutional risk.
• Develop and manage IP capabilities across Southeast Asia, including operations, strategic cooperation and enforcement through mediation, arbitration and litigation.
• Monitor evolving legislation and policy shifts in major Southeast Asian markets, providing strategic insights on AI governance, export controls, labour law and IP protection.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M or J.D.) with a focus on Intellectual Property or Corporate Law.
• Professional fluency in English and Chinese (written and oral).
• Deep understanding of Singapore labour law and regional legal frameworks.
• Experience in a multinational technology company or a top‑tier law firm.
