Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Senior Legal Counsel will support Singtel’s Digital InfraCo business in investing in digital and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure across the region. The role covers AI‑ready data centres, AI cloud services, fibre cable projects and satellite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner for strategic projects such as data‑centre greenfield/brownfield developments, AI compute fit‑outs, fibre network and satellite infrastructure investments, capital raising and M&A.
• Provide proactive, pragmatic and risk‑balanced legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to infrastructure development, project financing, power procurement, cloud and procurement services, and partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape business risk strategies and support decision‑making processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate and infrastructure law, including project finance and M&A.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior business leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance risk with business objectives.
