Senior Legal Counsel (Travel Required)

About the role

We are representing a prominent regional manufacturing company in the sports industry to find a Senior Legal Counsel. You will join a tight‑knit legal team, working closely alongside the Head of Legal, and take ownership of general commercial contracts across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of general commercial agreements, including sales and supplier contracts.
• Support corporate development initiatives, including domestic and cross‑border M&A investments and asset acquisitions.
• Handle corporate secretarial duties, manage compliance frameworks, and conduct regulatory compliance training for internal teams.
• Coordinate and travel occasionally to developing countries where company manufacturing plants and facilities are located.

Required profile

• 5–9 years of post‑qualification experience, demonstrating the capability to work independently.
• Qualified in Singapore or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• Strong corporate and commercial background, with M&A experience considered an advantage.
• Experience in corporate secretarial tasks and regulatory compliance.
