Senior Lighting Designer

About the role

BPI DESIGN Singapore is seeking a Senior Lighting Designer to lead architectural lighting projects across commercial, mixed‑use and hospitality sectors. The role combines creative design, technical expertise, and project leadership to deliver high‑impact lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client and consultant discussions to define lighting concepts and specifications.
• Develop detailed lighting designs using industry‑standard software and hand‑sketch techniques.
• Oversee implementation on site, ensuring compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Manage light‑fitting selections, procurement and coordination with contractors.
• Provide project management support, including scheduling, budgeting and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on commercial, mixed‑use or hospitality lighting projects.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore.
• Strong visual communication and hand‑sketch abilities.
