Senior Interior Designer

About the role

The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design development of interior projects, primarily in the healthcare sector, delivering innovative concepts from feasibility through to handover. You will work closely with the Director, clients, consultants and contractors to ensure design intent is realised on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, develop planning layouts and create multiple interior design concepts with mood imagery.
• Prepare and present design intent, layouts and options to clients, consultants and contractors.
• Lead schematic design, detailed drawings and tender specifications, including FF&E selection and custom furniture design.
• Produce comprehensive tender documentation, cut‑sheets and specifications.
• Coordinate interior design meetings with consultants, contractors, users and clients, and document outcomes.
• Review and approve shop drawings, sample submissions and monitor site progress to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Verify as‑built drawings, manage defect rectifications and oversee handover processes.
• Manage multiple interior design projects concurrently, maintaining high design standards and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an interior design consultancy, with proven healthcare project experience.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Self‑motivated, resourceful, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
