Senior Manager – Operations & Service Excellence

About the role

The Senior Manager supports the Head of Department in driving and executing strategic and business objectives across ECON Services. The role focuses on operational excellence, service quality, and financial sustainability while overseeing a wide range of back‑of‑house services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage P&L budgets and ensure financial sustainability of service operations.
• Develop, review and implement sustainable operational standards, SOPs and programmes.
• Rationalise and oversee support services such as linen, laundry, kitchen, medical consumables, environmental hygiene, housekeeping and landscaping, ensuring cost‑efficient coverage.
• Establish service agreements, monitor outsourced service quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead operational excellence frameworks, identify efficiency opportunities and collaborate with clinical leads and centre managers to meet regulatory standards.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, business continuity and infectious disease response plans.
• Develop service quality initiatives, manage customer feedback and drive improvements in service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior operational management and P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to support senior department heads.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement SOPs, standards and continuous‑improvement programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration across clinical, technical and external service providers.
• Knowledge of regulatory and licensing requirements in service environments.
