Senior Software Engineer

About the role

DRW is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ expertise to join its Core Infrastructure team in Singapore. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining a global low‑latency trading platform and working on key components such as order routing, market data and risk systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain DRW’s low‑latency trading platform deployed globally.
• Work on various parts of the technical stack, including order routing, market data, and risk systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience building high‑availability, ultra‑low‑latency systems in C++.
• Strong background in multi‑threaded programming and hardware/software interaction.
• Proficiency in performance tuning of applications, Linux, and socket I/O.
• Experience with C++ libraries such as STL and Boost and familiarity with the C++23 standard.
• Track record of challenging projects (e.g., custom compiler, matching engine, real‑time large‑scale data processing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
