Senior Talent Acquisition Leader – Engineering & Research

About the role

This senior position leads talent acquisition for a science, engineering and innovation organisation in Singapore. The role partners with senior technical stakeholders to design and execute strategies that attract specialised engineering, scientific and technical talent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition initiatives across engineering, scientific and technical functions.
• Develop proactive talent pipelining strategies for specialised STEM talent pools.
• Build strong engagement with technical talent communities and external ecosystems.
• Drive employer branding, candidate engagement and recruitment marketing campaigns.
• Organise and participate in recruitment and branding events, including regional initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders, hiring managers and technical stakeholders on workforce planning.
• Enhance candidate experience and strengthen talent attraction capabilities.
• Support long‑term workforce and talent development strategies.

Required profile

• Strong talent acquisition experience in semiconductor, engineering, advanced manufacturing, technology, R&D, medtech, scientific or innovation‑driven environments.
• Proven track record recruiting highly specialised STEM or technical talent.
• Familiarity with technical talent communities, engineering ecosystems or research‑driven organisations (advantageous).
• Exposure to employer branding, university engagement, technical recruitment events or talent pipelining initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage credibly with senior engineering, scientific or tech leaders.
