Senior Tax Advisor – APAC (Singapore)

About the role

A leading technology‑driven global financial and trading firm is looking for a Senior Tax Advisor to shape and execute corporate tax strategies across the APAC region, based in Singapore. The role will act as the regional tax architect, partnering with global tax, legal, finance and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and manage tax architecture for internal corporate restructurings, entity rationalisation, cross‑border transactions and business asset movements.
• Provide proactive, commercial tax advisory on global investments, acquisitions, joint ventures and specialised financial activities.
• Design tax‑efficient structural solutions for complex internal corporate vehicles and specialised investment arrangements.
• Serve as the primary regional tax expert, collaborating closely with global tax teams and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor evolving international tax regulations, assess impact on corporate structures and implement mitigation strategies under tight business timelines.

Required profile

• Chartered accountant status with a minimum of 13 + years of experience.
• Background in a Big 4 advisory practice or a large international financial institution; in‑house corporate experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional mastery of corporate tax transactions, international structuring principles and cross‑border regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex, competing deliverables independently in a dynamic corporate environment.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax risks clearly to non‑tax stakeholders.
