Senior Tax Analyst – Indirect Tax Advisory (Singapore)

About the role

The Senior Tax Analyst will join Caterpillar’s Indirect Tax Advisory team in Singapore, providing guidance on GST treatment, invoicing and reporting. You will work closely with business units to understand operations and ensure compliance with Singapore indirect tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Caterpillar businesses to gather indirect tax information and analyse implications.
• Support GST compliance processes, review returns and conduct reasonableness checks.
• Prepare responses to tax authority inquiries and monitor legislative updates.
• Lead renewal of incentive schemes such as the Major Exported Scheme.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience with Singapore GST and indirect tax matters.
• Fluency in English and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly understand Caterpillar’s transaction flows and manage relationships across finance and shared services.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with senior business personnel.
