Senior Technician – Pilot Plant Operations

About the role

The Senior Technician (PRL) will support daily batch‑making activities in a pilot‑plant environment, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards. This hands‑on position involves equipment setup, raw‑material handling, and basic analytical testing.

Key responsibilities

• Check advance booking schedules and support batch‑making operations.
• Calibrate and record weighing devices according to SOPs.
• Set up equipment, operate production machinery, and add raw materials per production instructions.
• Receive, verify, and document raw‑material details against batch records.
• Follow GHS requirements, wear PPE, and maintain a safe work area.
• Clean, sanitize, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Collect finished‑product samples and conduct pH and rheology measurements.
• Prepare hazardous and general waste for proper disposal.
• Maintain accurate batch‑making documentation and support housekeeping per GMP.

Required profile

• Experience in process laboratory, biopharmaceutical manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to work at height, lift up to 20 kg and handle hot fluids (~80 °C).
• Strong awareness of workplace safety and GMP compliance.
• Effective communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office proficiency.
