Senior/Principal Analyst – Drug & Vaccine Evaluation

About the role

The Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) seeks a Senior/Principal Analyst to lead health technology assessments of drugs, vaccines and precision medicines in Singapore. You will translate clinical and economic evidence into actionable guidance that shapes national subsidy decisions and prescribing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clinical experts, drug manufacturers and Ministry of Health stakeholders to understand local clinical management.
• Review pricing proposals and evidence submissions for subsidy consideration.
• Critically appraise published clinical and cost‑effectiveness data, identifying evidence gaps.
• Conduct systematic reviews, meta‑analyses and health‑economic evaluations using standardised methods.
• Prepare evaluation reports, guidance documents and educational materials for internal and external dissemination.
• Draft manuscripts for public‑facing publications and monitor the impact of ACE guidance on clinical practice and budgets.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD) in health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy or related field.
• Proven experience in health technology assessment or pharmacoeconomic analysis of drugs/vaccines.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to synthesize complex evidence.
• Excellent written communication for report and manuscript preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
