Senior/Staff Nurse – Angiography Centre

About the role

The Angiography Centre is seeking an experienced Senior/Staff Nurse to manage patient care from pre‑procedure preparation through post‑procedure recovery and discharge. You will work closely with interventional cardiologists, anaesthetists and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of cardiovascular and vascular procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑surgery admissions, discharge processes and coordinate bed bookings.
• Assist interventionists with sterile invasive procedures under radiation.
• Support anaesthetists in administering anaesthesia and airway adjuncts for general‑anaesthesia cases.
• Maintain efficient scheduling in collaboration with SOC and case coordinators.
• Ensure patient safety by following procedure safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
• Communicate with inpatient wards for safe transfer and optimal post‑procedure care.
• Support Western cluster STEMI activation workflow with the emergency department.
• Assist the structural team with elective or emergency coronary angioplasty in the operating theatre.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac and vascular interventional settings.
• Knowledge of coronary, congenital, structural heart diseases and peripheral vascular diseases.
• Familiarity with electrophysiology studies and cardiovascular implantable electronic devices.
• Ability to work in a high‑acuity, multidisciplinary environment.

• Angiography unit operation (induction training).
• NUH Basic Radiation Safety Course (E‑Learning).
• Moderate sedation certification.
