Senior/Staff Nurse – Dialysis Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Staff Nurse to join our dialysis centre. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, delivery of haemodialysis (HD), haemodiafiltration (HDF) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatments, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the care pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, identify needs, and manage individuals with various vascular accesses undergoing HD/HDF.
• Deliver HD, HDF and PD treatments according to prescribed plans, monitoring safety and managing complications.
• Review blood results and clinical parameters, collaborate with physicians to adjust dialysis regimens and medications.
• Conduct quality assurance of dialysis water and fluids in line with hospital policy and Ministry of Health guidelines.
• Educate patients on vascular access care, dietary and fluid restrictions, and provide counselling as required.
• Assess patient suitability for PD, deliver training, and evaluate competency for independent home dialysis.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive experience in renal dialysis.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and counselling.
