Software Engineer (Developer Platform)

About the role

CSIT builds products that support Singapore’s national security, ranging from counter‑terrorism to computer network defence. The developer platform team creates the integrated tools and infrastructure that enable product teams to deliver software quickly and efficiently. We are looking for a software engineer passionate about developer experience to help design, build and operate this foundational platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain features and automation for the developer platform, including cloud services and APIs used by engineers to build and deploy applications.
• Collaborate with engineers across the full software stack to improve delivery performance and integrate the platform with other private‑cloud services.
• Write clean code, conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
• Monitor and enhance platform availability, performance, efficiency and emergency response.

Required profile

• Background in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience using general‑purpose languages such as Python or Java.
