Software Engineer II – Glass Liquidity & Cash Management

About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate and Investment Banking Technology team as a Software Engineer II focused on Glass Liquidity & Cash Management. You will design, develop, and maintain complex software components that support secure, reliable, and scalable financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot secure, high‑quality code in at least one programming language.
• Design and implement micro‑services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring technical implications are addressed.
• Apply SDLC tools and automation to improve development efficiency.
• Analyze large data sets to identify issues and support stable application development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle in a large corporate environment.
• Familiarity with agile practices, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

Required skills

• Java (8+), Spring Boot, REST, SQL.
• Front‑end frameworks: React JS, Angular JS.
• Micro‑service architecture and automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, TDD, BDD).
• DevOps tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins.
• Exposure to messaging systems (MQ, Kafka) and cloud technologies (Kubernetes).
