Special Process Operator – Thermal Spray & Coating

About the role

The Special Process Operator will work in a dedicated workshop to perform thermal spray and GEL coating operations on gas turbine and aero‑derivative engine components. The role supports the repair and refurbishment of high‑value aerospace parts while ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thermal spray and GEL coating processes for turbine and engine repair.
• Execute related tasks such as blasting, polishing, heat treatment, and other production operations following work instructions.
• Maintain product quality, equipment condition, production schedules, and workplace housekeeping.
• Comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives within the workshop.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Secondary education or equivalent qualification.
• Technical certification (NTC, ITE) or similar is preferred but not mandatory.
• Relevant experience in thermal spray, coating, manufacturing, aerospace, or turbine repair is advantageous; candidates without experience are welcome as training will be provided.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
