Staff Nurse – Renal Hemodialysis

About the role

The Staff Nurse will join a dedicated renal hemodialysis team, delivering high‑standard nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis. You will provide holistic support, educate patients on self‑management, and collaborate closely with the Clinic Nurse Manager on clinical and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑, intra‑ and post‑dialysis assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Review blood test results and promptly report abnormalities to the Medical Director.
• Educate patients on diet, fluid intake, medication, and blood pressure management.
• Motivate patients to adapt to chronic hemodialysis and support their emotional wellbeing.
• Monitor the water treatment system and dialysis fluids to ensure safe, quality therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and EuClid Clinical Information system.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff, reporting equipment defects as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives by reporting incidents, hazards, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Nursing with registration on the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Singapore (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Advanced training in hemodialysis is a plus.
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Understanding of quality‑improvement processes and risk‑management obligations.
• Strong communication skills in English (additional local language preferred).
• Ability to give and receive comprehensive nursing reports.
• Computer literacy, preferably with MS Office.
