Strategic Technical Account Manager (Remote)

About the role
DigitalOcean is looking for a Strategic Technical Account Manager to partner with its highest‑value enterprise customers, driving adoption of cloud and AI solutions. This remote position works closely with senior stakeholders to align technical strategy with business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with Fortune 500 and global technology customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Lead regular technical and strategic alignment sessions (QBRs, EBRs) to shape roadmaps and maximize the value of DigitalOcean infrastructure.
- Provide expert guidance on AI/ML, containerized and GPU‑intensive workloads, including architecture design, migration, performance tuning and incident response.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve roadblocks and influence the product roadmap based on enterprise needs.
Required profile
- 7+ years in enterprise or strategic technical account roles (TAM, Solutions Architect) supporting large organizations.
- Proven experience managing executive‑level relationships with matrixed stakeholders in Fortune 500 or similar companies.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture for AI/ML, GPU orchestration and model deployment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with DigitalOcean.
- Hands‑on Linux, networking, containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Scripting/programming in Python or Go, especially for AI/ML and MLOps use cases.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, Hugging Face, NVIDIA Triton) and GPU platforms (CUDA, TensorRT, ROCm, MIOpen).
