Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be part of an innovative design team responsible for supplier qualification, part release support, quality performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and drive quality assurance for allocated suppliers, covering component and finished‑good manufacturing, N‑tier management and statistical continuous improvement.
• Ensure supplier compliance with product/process specifications and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations and other functions to engineer quality, reliability and durability.
• Participate in product development to guarantee raw materials, components and products meet agreed release criteria.
• Conduct gap analyses, identify capability gaps and mitigate risks through supplier capability improvement plans.
• Provide quality inputs for agreements, project books and sourcing grids.
• Monitor supplier performance (FPY, QA, PSI, CTX), manage SCAR closure and escalate unresolved non‑compliances.
• Support updates to the Approved Supplier List and promote quality awareness with OEM/ODM partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4‑6 years of experience in supplier quality, product quality or process engineering within domestic appliances.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles; experience with small domestic appliances is a plus.
• Good understanding of statistical methods and quality tools (QFD, CTQ, DFSS, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plan, Lean).
• Self‑motivated, action‑oriented, with a sense of urgency and ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the local language (e.g., Mandarin).
• Cross‑functional teamwork, business awareness and auditing experience (Lead Auditor certification preferred).
