Vietnamese Language Manager (English, Vietnamese)

About the role

Google's gTech Users and Products team is seeking a Vietnamese Language Manager to lead localization initiatives for Vietnamese‑speaking users. The role combines strategic relationship building with hands‑on project management to ensure Google products feel natural and culturally resonant in Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams to define localization needs, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Drive end‑to‑end localization projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams across time zones.
• Leverage Generative AI and Large Language Models to improve translation quality and scale content production.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Advocate for Vietnamese users by providing feedback that shapes product features and fixes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical project management or a customer‑facing role.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese, with strong presentation skills.
• Background in creative, localization, journalism, public communications, or online marketing/advertising.
• Proven experience as a translator, linguist, copywriter, writer, or editor.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
