About the role

MEXC is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations in a fast‑growing cryptocurrency exchange. The role involves preparing financial reports, handling reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support tax filings, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist internal and external audits by preparing relevant documents and schedules.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording according to applicable standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc financial analysis and accounting projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with IFRS or other international accounting standards.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
