Director, Client Investment Research

About the role

Bridgewater Associates is seeking a Director of Client Investment Research to lead client‑focused research activities from its Singapore hub. The role combines market analysis, investment insight generation, and client communication to support sophisticated global investors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Bridgewater’s book of business, commercial strategy, and investment thinking.
• Create and convey insights on investment philosophy, strategies, performance, and market outlook to clients.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Strategists, Client Advisors, and other investment professionals to shape client engagements.
• Manage and direct Client Service Research Analysts, overseeing day‑to‑day work and project delivery.
• Lead longer‑term client projects, conduct portfolio‑wide analysis, and align resources to strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in markets, investing, or investment consulting.
• Strong analytical ability to solve complex problems using financial and economic data.
• Proven management experience with ability to prioritize and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and composure under pressure.
