Actuarial Consulting Graduate Associate (Non-Life)

About the role

KPMG Singapore is seeking motivated graduates to join its Actuarial Services team. The role focuses on providing actuarial consulting for non‑life insurance clients, supporting audits, advisory projects and business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in actuarial audits and advisory work for general insurance clients, including direct insurers, reinsurers and captives.
• Perform certifying actuary tasks such as reserve valuation, stress testing, capital adequacy analysis and risk management assessments.
• Support merger & acquisition due‑diligence projects and build actuarial models for decision‑making.
• Advise clients on insurance accounting, regulatory changes, claims, pricing, reserving optimisation and market studies.
• Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication of complex ideas and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Willingness to pursue actuarial examinations with a recognised actuarial body (e.g., CAS, IFOA, Actuaries Institute of Australia).
• Graduation date expected between January 2026 and September 2027.
