Assistant Director / Senior Manager – Accounts Receivable Operations (Finance)

About the role

This senior finance position supports the Deputy Director of Accounts Receivable, overseeing governance, operational leadership, and stakeholder partnership for Continuing Education and Training (CET) and non‑Pre‑Employment Training activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AR operations including billing, collections, refunds, and debt management for CET and non‑PET programmes.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, journal approvals, and reporting using SAP S/4 Hana.
• Partner with centre leadership on budgeting, forecasting, grant claims, and financial sustainability.
• Maintain compliance with MOE/SSG requirements, Companies Act, GST Act, and PDPA.
• Lead internal controls, audit query resolution, and grant audit processes.
• Develop and enhance finance policies, SOPs, and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Engage cross‑functional stakeholders to drive system enhancements and change‑management activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance and accounts receivable within an education or training environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and internal control standards.
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and grant financing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and change‑leadership capabilities.
