Manager / Senior Manager – Compliance Audit (GST Division)

About the role

Join the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) as a Manager or Senior Manager in the GST Compliance Audit division. You will leverage your GST expertise to strengthen tax compliance, improve audit processes, and enhance the taxpayer experience as part of Singapore’s modernising tax administration.

Key responsibilities

• Use data analytics to identify high‑risk GST taxpayers and conduct targeted audits.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings and recommend actionable compliance solutions.
• Provide expert rulings on GST laws and interpret policy for internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and benchmark tax rules against international best practices.
• Drive process improvements and introduce innovative solutions to streamline compliance operations.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, applying technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, data analytics and behavioural insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Business.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and GST regulations.
• Strong analytical, logical and systematic thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Resourceful and capable of working independently.
