Assistant Manager – Neuroimaging Facility

About the role

The Cognitive Neuroimaging Centre (CoNiC) at NTU seeks an Assistant Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of its state‑of‑the‑art neuroimaging facility. The role involves coordinating equipment bookings, managing participant recruitment, handling billing, and ensuring smooth communication among researchers, participants, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with users to schedule MRI, MEG, fNIRS, TMS and EEG sessions and handle rescheduling as needed.
• Assist the Assistant Director in organising training workshops, seminars and stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of all scans and provide information for billing processes.
• Track payment schedules and ensure timely receipt of fees from users.
• Support recruitment of human participants for various neuroimaging studies.
• Compile consumable lists, obtain quotations and facilitate procurement.
• Provide assistance to participants preparing for EEG, fNIRS and MEG studies and help set up equipment.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to manage expectations professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting quickly to changing situations.
• Entry‑level candidates are welcome; relevant experience in participant recruitment or administration is a plus.
