Business Development Assistant (Internship)

About the role

A homegrown media company in Singapore is looking for a Business Development intern who is proactive about finding new business and also helps maintain strong relationships with existing clients while the company expands. The internship lasts a minimum of 20 weeks (5 months).

Key responsibilities

• Source and prospect potential brands through various communication channels.
• Craft proposals with suggested strategies and directions for brand collaborations.
• Prepare campaign agreements and invoices for brands.
• Take part in company meetings and events, and assist in campaign ideation, content planning and execution for social media and video production.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business or Communications, or currently studying for one.
• Excellent understanding of the new media, digital publishing, content and social media industry.
• Strong negotiator with a commercial mindset, outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage several activities and projects at once under tight deadlines, with team spirit and strong people skills.
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 weeks (5 months).
