Luxury Director, E-commerce & International

About the role

Carousell's omnichannel Luxury Recommerce business gives pre-owned luxury a second life: authenticated, fairly priced and sold to buyers who would not otherwise enter the secondhand market. The category operates in Singapore through Carousell Luxury and Luxlexicon stores, and through dedicated online channels in Hong Kong and Malaysia. This is a builder's role, not a planning role.

Key responsibilities

• Treat the Carousell Luxury online channel (web/Shopify) as its own P&L and storefront, fixing landed-cost pricing and building the promotions and markdown strategy.
• Own the online conversion funnel end to end, from traffic and listing quality through checkout, and the overall website experience.
• Own go-to-market online for Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan, with a view to expansion into new markets, and partner with marketing on promotions, campaigns and social campaign planning.
• Set weekly metrics for pricing, conversion and funnel performance, build the reporting, and propose fixes for what is broken.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years in e-commerce, growth or online channel ownership, ideally with real P&L or conversion-funnel accountability.
• Hands-on experience with pricing strategy, promotions and markdown.
• Comfortable owning a website or storefront experience (Shopify or equivalent) and its conversion funnel.
• Depth in e-commerce, marketplaces or luxury and fashion; recommerce or resale experience is a strong plus but not required.
• Cross-border experience (Hong Kong, Malaysia or wider Southeast Asia) is a plus.
