Checker Specialist

About the role

The Checker Specialist ensures that all outgoing shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched both domestically and internationally. You will act as a key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams to guarantee smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments (domestic and international).
• Verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, letters of credit, and import/export permits.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Track shipments, resolve delays, discrepancies, or damages.
• Maintain shipping records and update systems with shipment details.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping laws.
• Communicate shipment status to customers, vendors, and internal departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs processes.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
