Client Accountant – Financial Reporting & Client Management

About the role

You will join the Accounting team as a Client Accountant, reporting to the Team Manager. The role focuses on managing the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of clients while collaborating with local and offshore colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account closings and submit GST reports on time.
• Draft financial statements in line with the Singapore Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Provide administrative accounting services and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Review and guide offshore deliverables to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate with other departments on billing and accounts receivable matters.
• Stay up‑to‑date with IRAS regulations, SFRS changes and adapt processes accordingly.
• Liaise directly with external auditors and supply required documentation.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant designation or equivalent professional certification (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling full‑set accounts.
• Strong grounding in accounting principles and SFRS.
• Hands‑on attitude, analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
