Congress Project Manager

About the role

BCD Meetings & Events is seeking a Congress Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of assigned congresses in Singapore. You will partner with internal planning teams, professional congress organizers, and local suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of all event components.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and verify congress compliance with EFPIA guidelines.
• Secure and manage hotel room blocks, registrations, and dinner arrangements in line with local regulations and budget limits.
• Create, monitor, and reconcile budgets, handling day‑to‑day client inquiries and internal coordination.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
• Coordinate on‑site logistics, conduct site inspections, and lead pre‑event planning meetings.
• Support new‑hire onboarding, on‑site training, and implementation of process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in meeting or congress planning, preferably within a global events agency.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
