Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the property executive committee and report directly to the General Manager, while also collaborating with the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. This senior leader will shape and execute HR strategy for the Marina Bay property, driving talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the property’s HR strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Lead engagement‑survey activities and translate results into actionable plans.
• Champion talent management and diversity initiatives across the property and region.
• Oversee succession planning, human capital reviews, and leadership pipeline development.
• Monitor and promote effective use of the myHR platform by managers and staff.
• Serve as change manager for high‑impact employee initiatives.
• Represent HR at owners’ meetings, presenting retention, vacancy, satisfaction, and training metrics.
• Supervise HR staff and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost control and performance outcomes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HR information system.
