Director, Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs – Energy, Climate & Resources

About the role

BowerGroupAsia (BGA) is seeking a senior Director to lead its Energy, Climate & Resources (ECR) practice across the Indo‑Pacific and Africa. The role will be based in Singapore or Washington, DC and reports to the Vice President.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client service and business development for BGA’s global ECR portfolio, building trusted relationships with multinational corporations.
• Design and execute regional and market‑specific business pursuits, including scopes of work, RFP responses and pitches.
• Represent BGA as a thought leader at industry forums, generating new leads and showcasing expertise.
• Oversee sector performance tracking, revenue forecasting in Salesforce, and advise on resource investments.
• Lead recruitment and capacity‑building activities for ECR‑focused talent.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in high‑pressure, multi‑stream environments.
• Strong client‑facing experience with multinational corporations in the Indo‑Pacific or Africa.
• Excellent communication, high emotional intelligence and curiosity about energy transition and policy dynamics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce for revenue tracking and forecasting.
