Executive Director, Global Corporate Finance - Asia

About the role

The Executive Director, Global Corporate Finance will be based in Singapore and will lead the origination and execution of corporate finance transactions across Asia, focusing on loan and debt capital markets. The role works closely with investment banking, coverage, and product teams in both Asia and the UAE head office.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate origination of loan and debt capital market transactions in Asia, partnering with IB and CCB coverage teams.
• Develop strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions to identify syndication, underwriting and sell‑down opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Loan Portfolio Management team in the UAE to monitor and manage loan assets booked in Asian offices.
• Meet issuers, sponsors and banks regularly to stay abreast of market developments and provide updates, proposals and pitches.
• Generate innovative financing solutions together with coverage, credit and product partners.
• Work with head‑office Loans & Bonds teams to structure and execute new deals, including pricing and syndication appetite.
• Assist in developing syndication strategies, marketing secondary assets and monitoring covenant compliance.
• Support internal reporting, MIS requirements and contribute to budget preparation and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate finance, loan syndication and debt capital markets within Asia.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions and corporate clients.
• Strong understanding of loan portfolio monitoring, covenant management and restructuring processes.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver market updates, proposals and client presentations.
• Leadership capability to influence internal stakeholders across coverage, credit and product teams.
