Finance Manager – Internal Controls & Governance

About the role

The Finance Manager – Internal Controls & Governance will join a lean regional finance team and work closely with senior finance leaders and local finance teams across multiple markets. This individual contributor role focuses on strengthening financial integrity, governance and control frameworks in a complex international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and review internal control processes across operating entities and joint ventures, ensuring compliance with group policies.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidation and KPI review for multiple entities, delivering accurate results on time.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to improve processes, systems, controls and capabilities.
• Support integration of new entities and acquisitions from finance, reporting and governance perspectives.
• Identify financial and operational risks, contribute to fraud prevention initiatives and implement remediation actions.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• 8‑10 years of experience in internal controls, financial governance, reporting and consolidation, preferably across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
• Experience with IFRS, statutory and group reporting processes; exposure to joint ventures is a plus.
• Prior Big 4 audit experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management ability and capacity to work independently.
