HR Manager – APJ Region

About the role

Fiserv is seeking an experienced HR Manager to act as a trusted advisor for business leaders across the APJ region. The role blends strategic and operational HR support, ensuring alignment with business goals, local legislation, and best‑practice HR standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic HR guidance on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Lead organizational design, restructuring, change management, and business transformation initiatives.
• Manage complex employee‑relations matters, investigations, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution while ensuring legal compliance.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HR Operations) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and retention strategies.
• Use HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and support business decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, company policies, and governance requirements across multiple countries.
• Organize and run employee engagement and CSR activities.
• Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Required profile

• Native or business‑level proficiency in Japanese (written and verbal).
• Strong employee‑relations expertise, including experience managing investigations, organizational change, restructures, and complex workplace matters.
