Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a strategic liaison between HR and business units, supporting overseas projects and fostering a positive employee experience. This role combines employee relations, recruitment, and compensation responsibilities to drive organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders on HR matters and partner with business units on overseas projects.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and organise group events.
• Monitor turnover, manage feedback channels, and support employee communication.
• Conduct full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, testing, and selecting candidates.
• Deliver new‑employee orientation and maintain relationships with tertiary institutions and job fairs.
• Develop and maintain a talent data bank for proactive hiring.
• Assist in compensation and benefits projects, including salary benchmarking, variable pay, and performance appraisal.
• Manage expatriate administration, work passes, taxes, and relocations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR processes for hires, confirmations, and resignations.

Required profile

• Business degree, preferably with a postgraduate HR diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, ideally in production or customer‑service environments.
• Proven track record in employee relations, culture change, and multi‑team collaboration.
• Strong drive, energy, and tenacity with a business‑focused mindset.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin‑speaking associates.
