IT Support Engineer – Asset & Lifecycle Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to manage our end‑to‑end IT asset lifecycle, provide high‑quality service desk support, and ensure operational resilience across our banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory and lifecycle of user devices, shared equipment, and branch‑specific hardware.
• Assist with hardware procurement, secure disposal, and data sanitisation compliance.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding IT provisioning and asset recovery.
• Oversee printer user management and physical access systems.
• Act as escalation point for service requests, incidents, and change requests within the ITSM tool.
• Conduct regular health checks on core IT systems and align activities with MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines.
• Participate in Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery drills.
• Maintain SOPs, prepare monthly performance and asset utilization reports, and support ad‑hoc ITSM projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 5–7 years of IT support or operations experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong service‑orientation with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ITSM frameworks (ITIL certification is a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and macOS environments.
• Knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory, endpoint cybersecurity and MDM solutions.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
• Understanding of MAS TRM guidelines and compliance requirements.
