Lead Finance Analyst

About the role

Dyson is looking for a Lead Finance Analyst to deepen its understanding of financial functions and support ambitious growth and cost‑control targets. You will partner with global budget holders and the Group Finance team to deliver accurate budgets, forecasts and insightful financial commentary.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly commitments, prepare accruals, pre‑payments and general management accounting reconciliations.
• Produce timely financial management information with detailed spend analysis and commentary.
• Collaborate with global budget owners to create annual budgets, quarterly re‑forecasts and actuals.
• Lead monthly review meetings with senior budget holders and act as the primary finance contact for their teams.
• Support the Global Overheads agenda, driving standardisation and continuous improvement of processes and systems.
• Assist in presenting financial performance, full‑year forecasts and budget variances, highlighting opportunities and risks.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Procurement and HR to provide financial insight for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Newly qualified accountant (CA/ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid accounting fundamentals.
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting or forecasting processes.
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proactive, disciplined and able to manage strict reporting deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work through complex cost drivers.
