Legal Counsel – Digital Infrastructure

About the role

The company is seeking its first dedicated Legal Counsel to support a fast‑growing data centre platform across APAC. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will handle a broad range of commercial, regulatory, corporate and transactional matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts such as colocation agreements, EPC and construction contracts, supply arrangements, NDAs, MOUs and JV documentation.
• Support data centre development legal matters, including site acquisition, ground leases, substation/utility documents, power purchase agreements and grid procurement.
• Advise on data centre regulatory and licensing requirements across APAC markets.
• Ensure data privacy compliance with PDPA and equivalent regimes in applicable jurisdictions.
• Assist with corporate governance, board documentation and investor reporting.
• Contribute to financing processes, JV arrangements and M&A activities as the business expands.
• Instruct and coordinate local counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Qualified in a common‑law jurisdiction – Singapore, Australia or England & Wales preferred.
• Strong commercial contracts background with exposure to infrastructure, energy, real estate or technology.
• Comfortable handling multi‑jurisdictional matters.
• Commercial, pragmatic and able to give clear, actionable advice quickly.
• Based in Singapore.
