Legal Counsel – Global Commercial & Corporate Law

About the role

Reporting to the Global General Counsel, you will provide practical, business‑focused legal advice across a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate matters. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements such as supply, distribution, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, services, confidentiality and licensing contracts.
• Provide strategic legal support to business units and advise on corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance issues.
• Support contract‑management processes and promote legal best practices across the organization.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on initiatives, projects and commercial transactions.
• Assist in managing disputes, claims, litigation and coordinate external counsel when required.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Deliver legal training and raise awareness of compliance and risk‑management frameworks.
• Support M&A, corporate restructuring and integration projects as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 5‑7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience gained at a reputable law firm and/or a multinational corporation.
• Strong generalist commercial legal background with proven contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing, chemicals, industrial, engineering, energy or related sectors is advantageous.
