Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will support the Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation (CRIS) and its business units by providing legal advice and services for clinical research, research collaborations and related support services. The role involves close interaction with internal stakeholders, healthcare institutions, industry sponsors and research partners to ensure timely and compliant execution of agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of research‑related agreements, including NDAs, Clinical Trial Agreements for industry‑sponsored and investigator‑initiated trials, research collaboration agreements, data and tissue registry agreements, data‑sharing agreements and service agreements.
• Prepare and manage Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to formalise partnerships.
• Advise CRIS and its units on contractual risks, liability allocation, indemnities, publication rights, confidentiality obligations and data‑protection requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate agreement execution while managing legal and institutional risks.
