Maintenance Planning Support (Contract)

About the role

This position supports the Facilities Department in planning preventive and corrective maintenance, managing SOE expenses, and coordinating vendor activities for a manufacturing site. The role is contract‑based for 12 months with the possibility of renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and track preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for equipment and facilities.
• Assist in budgeting, monitoring, and reporting SOE (Statement of Expense) expenditures.
• Source quotations, negotiate with approved vendors, and manage service schedules.
• Verify vendor deliveries, work completion, and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Raise purchase requisitions, process orders and payments through the Ariba system.
• Receive, issue and record maintenance materials, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain organized records of tools, consumables and ensure storage safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Planning, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant facilities environment.
• Resourceful problem‑solver with flexibility to work overtime when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with the Ariba procurement platform.
