Personal Care Innovation Planner

About the role

The Innovation Planner will drive innovation, renovation and portfolio maintenance projects for Unilever International’s Personal Care business across North Asia and Southeast Asia. Acting as a control tower, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure new product launches, product changes and regulatory updates are delivered on time, in full and in compliance with market requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead innovation, renovation and portfolio maintenance projects across Personal Care categories (deodorants, oral care, fragrance, skin cleansing).
• Develop and manage end‑to‑end project networks and timelines, facilitating kick‑offs and aligning stakeholders on milestones.
• Drive on‑time and in‑full (OTIF) delivery of projects across global markets, monitoring health and escalating risks.
• Lead implementation of mandatory product changes to maintain regulatory compliance, managing specification, formulation, packaging and artwork updates.
• Act as single point of integration across Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain, influencing without direct authority.
• Lead project governance meetings, provide transparency on timelines, risks and mitigation plans.
• Partner with manufacturing sites and suppliers to ensure readiness for launches and product transitions, supporting supply planning and inventory strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional innovation projects in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong understanding of personal‑care product development, regulatory requirements and supply‑chain processes.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
• Excellent risk‑management and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and governance skills.
