Plant Operator – Wastewater & Tank Operations

About the role

The Plant Operator is responsible for safe and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing bulk liquids at our facility. You will work closely with the supervisory team to ensure proper loading, unloading, and treatment processes are carried out according to operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Unload ISO tanks, vacuum trucks and IBCs as directed.
• Load RFO into flexibags, tank trucks and IBCs.
• Perform jetty operations, including vessel berthing and marine loading.
• Conduct oily‑water pre‑treatment and tank‑to‑tank transfers.
• Prepare daily incoming wastewater and dose chemicals for treatment.
• Monitor SBR process, OWWTP equipment, tank levels and report abnormalities.
• Clear the filter press when full and maintain housekeeping at the SLOP plant.
• Submit daily task reports to the SLOP Superintendent and Supervisor.

Required profile

• Physically fit and willing to learn operational procedures.
• Basic English reading and writing ability.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in plant or industrial operations.
